Staff and Volunteers

We have a staff of experienced educators and people to make your experience the very best it can be.

Allie Martin, Learning Curve Teacher

Allie Martin has always had two passions in her life: the arts and working with children. Since graduating from Teacher’s College, she has been working as a supply teacher and has been working within the disability community as a therapist for children with autism and as a volunteer with adults with disabilities at Dramaway.  She has always had a passion for music and whether it was singing with the Hart House Singers in her spare time or adding music to every teaching opportunity, she tries to infuse music into all aspects of her life. Her teaching experience includes over 5 years of working at and developing camps, 2 years of supply teaching with many long term placements, teaching vocal music at a rock school, and teaching a social skills program for children with autism. She is very excited to bring her passion and energy to High Park Family Fun Place and eager to work with such creative and inspiring people.

Maria Zelska, Art Teacher

Maria has taught a number of amazing art programs at the centre and children and parents adore her. As art educator, Maria is dedicated to designing step-by-step fine art and ceramic workshops that bring out everyone’s creative side. She holds an M.A. in Ceramics and has been teaching for over a decade.

Alanna Balicki, Drama Teacher

With a B.A. in Theatre, Alanna has twelve years of experience teaching creative theatre programs at camps and schools. Since 2006, she has led theatre and leadership classes for toddlers, youth and adults of all abilities with DramaWay. Currently she is Program Director for a summer drama camp and is a proud member of the Suitcase Theatre creative team.

Morgan Joy, DIY Indie Craft Teacher

Morgan is an Honours graduate of the Humber College comedy program and loves all things crafty. Her natural state is sitting in a pile of newspaper covered in glue, glitter and whatever else she can find in the blue bin! She teaches children and adults art and drama and believes that there are no mistakes when it comes to artistic expression.

Chantelle Faubert, Yoga Teacher

Chantelle is a certified yoga teacher who teaches yoga to both children and adults. She received her Kids Yoga certification at Yoga Sanctuary and loves helping children develop a healthy mind, body and spirit through the practice of yoga.

Angel Ling, Graphic Designer

Angel brings a great creative vision to the centre and helps us out with all of our design needs like promotional flyers, brochures and the web site.

*We are also extremely grateful to a number of excellent volunteers who all go through careful screening and training to be a part of the Family Fun Place team!*
