We founded High Park Family Fun Place in April 2010. Driven by our shared passion for community and family, we opened the centre and quickly learned what local families needed: a safe place for children to play, supervised after-school care, art and drama enrichment programs and a hot spot for birthday parties!
We work together with local businesses and people to bring innovative programs and special events to the centre. We have recently partnered with Suitcase Theatre, a not-for-profit children’s theatre group founded by the creator of Mr. Dress Up. Putting on plays, inviting storytellers and musicians to offer affordable and unforgettable entertainment is just one of the many programs we are proud to support.
The centre is also pleased to offer well supervised after school programs called Art Fusion. Drama, painting, DIY crafts, yoga and clay play delight children after school from Monday through Friday throughout the school year. Again, the emphasis is on quality instruction and enrichment in a fun environment that parents and kids love – and trust.
Saturday Morning Art Club (SMAC) is another favourite local club for kids. With programs in ceramics, painting, drama and more, children can be a part of this creative club on Saturday mornings from 9 – 11:30 a.m.
We invite you to come by, drop in for some fun, sign up for a class or take advantage of our babysitting services and enjoy some time away from your kids.
